With StayBeyond, your home is in safe hands. We update and furnish every home as needed to make sure it’s ready for guests. In fact, the homes that need a little sprucing up are where we can really make things better and we’re not put off by a home that needs a little love. We’re happy to coordinate works to get the property up to StayBeyond standard and our in-house interior design team knows what they’re doing.
Think of us as the best possible tenant. We have all of the same obligations as a normal tenancy – we’ve never missed a rental payment in 4 years, and we have bespoke insurance covering our occupation in the home, plus we can add buildings insurance to this. Whatever happens, we’re responsible.
We know it might take a moment to understand that you won’t know who’s occupying the home – but it’s our responsibility and we take it seriously: we’re as selective about who stays in the home, as you would be. And, we look after our properties immaculately – after all, they need to look just as good for the third guest as the first. We reject around 40% of all applications from guests, and the general rules are no one under 30, unless they have a kid (or a grandma!). We won’t accept any guests we wouldn’t want to welcome into our own home, and we make sure that our guests know about each home’s unique features so they can make the most of the home. Like any tenant we are responsible for the rent and the upkeep of your property, the only difference is that the occupants will change between our hand-selected guests. We check every booking to prevent parties and unruly guests and use noise-monitoring technology to ensure that we know about anything going on in the home before it becomes an issue.
We only take homes with private entrances to ensure that our rental process causes the least disturbance to neighbours, and have a 24-hour neighbour hotline where we can be reached in case neighbours are having any issues with guests, or have questions or concerns about the process. If we need to send a plumber, host a viewing, or drop off an extra pillow, our customer service team is in constant contact with the guests to ensure that guests are aware and prepared for a visitor.
