Surrounded by beautiful countryside and a stones’ throw from three sandy beaches, Polhawn Fort and Whitsand Bay, this gorgeous bolthole has something for everyone. Long walks, swims and afternoons on the beach the list is endless.From the moment you arrive, you will feel at home. A delicious array of seasonal goodies and a bottle of bubbles await, so you can start your holiday the moment you walk through the door.
Blue Monkey is perfectly appointed for young children and babies so parents will feel at ease in this seaside haven. Well behaved dogs are also welcome. We offer a bespoke concierge service to all our guests, so if this is your first time to the area or you’re a seasoned traveler looking for something special, we are on hand to help. We will get in touch once your booking is confirmed to see if we can assist with planning any activities or make restaurant bookings for your time with us. We want you to experience the area with local insights to make your experience extra special. There are 10 sleeps across 3 large double bedrooms (2 en suite), a twin room & a bunk room. Three travel cots are also provided but guests will have to bring their own linens. It is a Grade II listed home with a large kitchen, dining room, spacious living room, 4 bathrooms, and a Secluded walled garden. Blue Monkey is furnished with the luxuries of home, including a fully equipped kitchen, beds, linen, towels, TV, free wifi, games, kayaks, paddleboards and much more.You will have full run of the entire house and garden and be centrally located, next to the beach and in the heart of a village.
Check-in is 3pm and check-out is 10am, on confirmation of the booking we will put you in touch with the property manager who will arrange access with you.
This home is located in a beautiful area and is an ideal location for a little bit of privacy, peace, and quiet. The home can be a little tricky to find but the check-in guide has a detailed explanation of how to find it.
There’s also a phone number to call at any time if you’ll need help locating it. The home is spread across multiple levels and guests who have difficulties with stairs may find it hard to access the whole home. The home has lots of natural light and is beautifully bright throughout.
Please, no parties or smoking. Please be respectful of the neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 9pm. If these rules are violated we will charge guests to cover the security call out fee and any additional expenses to cover their misbehaviour.
Blue Monkey welcomes your best four legged friends and is very dog-friendly with an enclosed garden. It is on the coastal path and less than 20 meters from a dog-friendly beach.
The narrow streets of Kingsand and Cawsand do not allow for private parking however there is a large passing bay outside our neighbour’s property where you can unload. Skinners Car Park is less than 25m away and cars can be parked at the top of the village for free. This apartment is cosy, captivating and a pleasure to stay in.
